Pull down on the TAB with a fingernail
to open the DVD unit cover.
Insert the new Disc.
Close the DVD unit cover.
Make sure
you've closed the DVD unit cover.
Don't
forget to close the DVD unit cover.
Then and only then, press the
button.
The Nav System will re-start when it
senses a new disc.
Don't Panic!
After the splash screen and the Nag screen, you'll see either:
OR
You don't care.
Press and hold MAP, MENU and
CANCEL for about 5 seconds.
I press MAP with the ring finger,
MENU with the middle finger and
CANCEL with the index finger.
If you've recently had a toe grafted onto a missing thumb, don't try it.
You will see:
Press "Version"
Press "Download"
You'll see the following screen
for about 45 seconds.
About 20 seconds into this screen, it will blink once.
Now, to try your patience, watch this screen for 3 minutes
Almost there.
The Screen will go blank for a
few seconds, then your splash screen will display.
Put the original DVD back into the unit.
